I have a OFW 4.21 PSP 3000, And I would like to update to 5.00 or 5.03, as I want to enable homebrew on it, and chickhen does not work on anything above 5.03… I’ve dowbloaded the updates from some sites, but I get the “corrupted data” message… I’m guessing it’s because they are supposed to run on CFW… So any help would be appreciated… Thanks in advance.

I havent heard of any new downgrade or hacks to homebrew on 5.00 or above. If you want to get CFW on your psp then you are going to need to find out how to downgrade your system to 1.50 and then upgrade it back to whatever you want with CFW (you will need to OFW too) I remember there was some new way of doing it but its been a while since I have upgraded my PSP. Its still one CFW 4.02 M33-2 because everything I want runs on that. homebrew games and hacked games will not run on OFW.
