I was reading about how everyone says that HID’s are the best lighting system to get, so I looked into it and now I want to purchase a kit for my car. Though, I’m a little confused on how this all works. If I buy the kit, do I just hook everything up to my original headlight housings , or is it a must to buy those projector headlight housings ? Can the original housings be used or will it cause too much glare ? Also what’s a good website to purchase a kit from?

I have a fully mirror tinted 1998 Honda Accord LX. We noticed that its headlights are super dimmed out, it’s obvious cause when we use it’s high beams, no one seems to get bothered. At night, the tints makes it pretty dark to see, but we aren’t willing to change them up. So I’m going for the 6000k hid conversions with a new set of headlights. I was advice that some of them don’t fit very well. Can anyone tell me the best brands to stick to? Do JDMs fit’s really well?
