I know a little about IPv6 and the whole moving from IPv4, however one concept I don’t quite understand yet is the Dual Stacking. Is Dual Stack simply running both IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time, with an IP address from both being assigned?

I ask this simply because I wanted to know what I could expect going forward. If my ISP tries to assign me only an IPv6 address without an IPv4, can I dual stack still? I know I have at least one piece of IPv4-Only hardware in my network and unfortunately it provides my voip phone service so I wanted to get an understanding of the Dual Stack concept before the bubble bursts.

Just wondered if this works as well as a land line.

Things that may have triggered this:
- I uninstalled Registry Mechanic because it kept telling me to pay for the full version and wasn’t fixing any viruses
- I tried to install an IPEVO skype phone but it didn’t connect with my computer system and the disc that came with it froze.

I had one on my USB and I cant seem to stop the autorun.inf file. It comes with a “con” folder and a few randomly titled applications. I tried it with my usb phone and the problem seemed to worsen when I placed my phone; now I have two problems, plus I spread it into another computer…. It’s making me nuts! I’ve used a lot of sites but none of them seemed to helped me. I know a lot of people asked this question recently over the years, I need a solution that is centered to me! I’m not even a computer major and I’m trying to fix this by myself!

I tried a few things. I downloaded “Malwarebytes”, though it has the “flash scan”, the full version needs to be bought to use that said program, so I was disappointed!

I tried formatting it. It was the dumbest thing I could think of, really. Formatting deleted all the files(Woot!), but it left out a 4kb when it should be, I believe, is 0. Zilch. Blank. Nothing. –

I used “Ninja pendisk”, it works, but not that well. It only removes the autorun.inf file when plugged in, but the problem still “persists” or is still there, i don’t know why. :-[

I tried “Autorun eater”, but bottomline is it sucked! According to the program, the autorun.inf file could only be deleted manually. By manually, it cannot be deleted because some program is “using” it.

I tried “killautorun”, but it stayed running behind the background. It was the most useless program i’ve downloaded. Hopeless!

**The autorun.inf file seems to recreate the shortcuts whenever I plug in my flash drive. The shortcuts open a randomly named file (e.g. bueirx.exe, jukuxx.exe, …). Some of the programs are hidden by the way.

I also tried the ‘cmd’ thing, but some instruction get too complicated that I had to make sure my programs are safe.Some instruction require RegEdit, some needed softwares, other I dunno. Any help?

P.S. Feel free to suggest anything. I might be wrong or might have misinterpreted some of the instruction that is why they don’t work, but I’ll keep trying… YOUR HELP IS GLADLY APPRECIATED. =)

So I have the regular Nintendo DS, before the DS Lite came out, and I’m having trouble getting Wifi on it for my Pokemon SoulSilver game. This is the first time I’ve used Wifi for anything so I’m not very good with how everything works.
But I have AT&T triple play(?)(Internet, phone, and cable?). My DS keeps me that ‘Nintendo doesn’t like my security settings’ and I’m sure there’s something I can do. Settings can be changed so I’m kinda… eeeh about it.

If you’ve ever stayed in a mental hospital, what was it like? What did it look like? What did you do? Did you have a roommate? Could you use internet, phone etc.? What were the other patients like? As much detail as possible, please.
