I havent heard of any new downgrade or hacks to homebrew on 5.00 or above. If you want to get CFW on your psp then you are going to need to find out how to downgrade your system to 1.50 and then upgrade it back to whatever you want with CFW (you will need to OFW too) I remember there was some new way of doing it but its been a while since I have upgraded my PSP. Its still one CFW 4.02 M33-2 because everything I want runs on that. homebrew games and hacked games will not run on OFW.

if your talking about 5.50 it will not work, if your talking about the 5.05 umd update through “Idolmaster SP”(?) then yes it works.

1st-download a free CF
2download any full game compatible on ur version of CF
3rd-run any game or software
c after installation Of CF in ur PSP if it turns wreck u cant claim for warranty or replacements, so b careful

If the firmware installed on it is 5.03 or lower then yes you can but any higher you need the pandora and magic stick
